Church of St. Apollonia

The facade was restored in October 2001.
The small church dedicated to the patron saint of teeth is now called, in the Middle Ages, "Church of San Pietro in Ischia" named after the family of Galletti from Ischia. It was remodeled inside and out in 1777, designed the Tarot. The front is slightly concave, while the interior has a nave with a semicircular apse is decorated with frescoes of Tempesti. Among the eighteenth-century facades of Pisa, one of Santa Apollonia curvilinear character of uniqueness and importance in Pisa is the most influential example of architecture from Baroque language.
