AUTO:

Pisa-Florence, exit Pontedera-Ponsacco, continue along the SS439 in the direction of Volterra Steer to the bridge, then turning to the provincial Lajatico.

BUS:

CPT-town, destination Pontedera, CPT, and even suburban, destination, or Orciatico Volterra.

TRAIN:

Pisa-Florence to Pontedera, then CPT (see above).

DESCRIPTION:

Of Latin origin as Castrum Ajatici or Lombard, is placed on top of a rocky hill at the confluence of the valley and the Era of the Steer, the director of Sarzanese-Era.
